A new Tea Set for Kailani

 I cannot believe it is 2011! Wow! I am a bit slow on New years Resolutions this year. I might just post a few up here for fun but all I can think about is getting a bunch of blog posts up I have been wanting to share. 

Christmas was wonderful for us. Spent with family and surrounded by laughter and smiles. Pure Joy.

I wanted to share with you this little project I worked on for my Kailani. She loves to pretend play. I found this Tea Set at Walgreens one day while getting a prescription. It was on sale for $4!  I also have been wanting her to have a tea set that was not plastic. I think it teaches them to be more careful as they should be with Mommy's dishes.
 Well, I decided to live crazy and just get a plastic set anyways. Except, one problem,...The silly cliche Princess stickers were pealing off. I could see that when I bought it. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this set to make it more personalized, classic, and simple.

My sister has an amazing machine that is on my dream wish list called a Silhouette. She cut letter K's for me to apply on the tea set after I fully removed the stickers that were cheap looking. 

And Voila! 

Kailani loved it and I love it too! She felt special having a tea set with her own Letter on it. She loves the letter K and points it out everywhere. 

More to come. A few handmade accessories I made for an office Secret Santa exchange at My Mans work.
